Bunker #2 - Machine Gun

Today I took the long ride to BFE for a day of goofing around at Dan's. Hung out, sniffed resin, toured the base and had a general good time until the wee hours of the mornin'.

Steve hung out until he had to go home for dinner. We called him around midnight to make sure he was getting his beauty sleep.

After a day of fun, we decide to hit Lowe's just before closing for some foam board. Brought it back to Dan's place, just to do the layout. An hour or so and a trip to Meijer's later, Dan has a new saw, and we have an all nighter in the making.

Here's Dan, taking a breather near his creation. It's based on a 1/35 model, modified to suit Dan's ideas. At this time, it is missing a few walls.

Nothing but the best construction materials were used. Duct tape in this instance....

Looken ze out, Kamarade! There seems to be a WSC creeping up on you....

Dan (in a hurry to play with his "dollhouse") sets up an MG42 to repel the invaders.

Meanwhile, this SS officer's suitcase holds a little surprise for a VIP coming later on...
